Jay-Z’s American Gangster album is really quite good, but I particularly love a track that has generally been derided on the forums and in reviews. ‘Hello Brooklyn 2.0’ is based around an old Beasties hook, and has the Jiggaman rap lovingly about how he drives a tarmac-glued Lexus, so as to hug the curves of his beloved Brooklyn roads. Also, the Nas colloboration, ‘Success’ has some amazing motion sickness inducing off-kilter drumming and organs.
